Cairo

The biggest city in  africa , arab word egypt indeed , capital of egypt since more that  1400  ago , the  biggest population of egypt   exists in cairo  around  22  million people in agglomeration called great cairo ,where there you can see the whole summary of society , muslism , christian ,  catholics  , protostant , jues , the most rich class of egypt , poverty  , very luxury hotels  ,  pyramids on the western bank  of cairo ,   the oldest museum of egypt , synagogue of ben ezra , coptic antiquities  ,  islamic architecture , mosques from middle ages , coptic architecture   , classical , and modern  , different suburbs  in cairo in each one there is kind  of essences  of the long history in cairo . 

This city existed from ancient egypt till now   ,  a lot of events  was happened in cairo  ,  the last one  revolution against mubarak  , funeral of president nasser ,  fire of cairo  in  1952 ,  holding the throne of egypt by king mohamed ali , napoleon bonaparate  and its  expeditions  ,  conqueror selim the first and ottomans  , king salah eldin  , fatimides  , and arabs ,  holy family   , god moses , and the first mosque in egypt  and africa was erected in egypt . 

Every tourist who visits cairo has a chance to follow the whole  history  of egypt from cairo , because in cairo   one can observe the evolution of architecture  , religion , art  , culture and population  indeed   . 

For example in cairo  on the wester bank   you can show the architecture of ancient egypt  represented in pyramids and cemeteries of ancient egyptian  , greco roman  through its items in egyptian in down time ,  coptic through churches in old cairo and the cloister of saint  simon in muqattam area   ,  islamic architecture  , through great variety of it from different  periods in islamic history  ( fatimids  , ayyubids , mamluks , ottomans  , modern ) 

And  new classical  architecture  like prestigious   egyptian museum , building of modern  egypt , and also new type  of architecture come from  far east  like  “el baron palace “ in heliopolis    . 

Not only architecture   but also  religion ,  in cairo  lots of  antiquities of  each religion existed in egypt   , pyramids , ancient temples  , synagogue   , churches mosques   , even in old city in one street tourist can visit the oldest  mosque  in egypt and africa and next to it  , church of saint sergius which and there  lair   or small cave where  lived holy family  . 

And in art  in egypt a lot  of  cinemas  als theaters and most of companies producing movies to egyptian  and arabic   nation ,  but the most important art place in cairo is egyptian opera  , by the way egypt is the only  arab  country which has  his own opera   “opera aida “  , which was created in year  1869  , by italian   composer  verdi  .

Education also in cairo has  a very great feature  , more than  22  universities and  academic research institutes  existing in cairo to offer  different types  and levels of education to egyptian and foreigners also , in cairo in  1908  was erected the first national university  cairo university  which is  now the  biggest and main university  in cairo  , in addition to  international  universities like  american  , frech , german ,  and others  . 

In Cairo there are 3 presidential palaces  ,where president rule  egypt from there ,  and under president   pre minister   and egyptian parliament .
